We have changed the structure of the product page to make it easier to read through the various products and product categories. This feature has improved the performance of CloudBilling and made it simpler to view the various products.
What has been changed?
The old product cluster has been removed and a more functional product category drop-down menu is implemented.
How does this functionality work?
Product categories can be created in a dropdown menu, subcategories can be created under a category and under each subcategory individual products along with their SKU can be added.
1) The top-level category differs from a product category (ex. software services is a category and the Microsoft is the product category).
2) There can be multiple layers of subcategories under a category to further distinguish products or services.
3) For a particular product you can add in the various product names and their SKU (ex. Under the product category Microsoft you can add Microsoft 365). This enables you to add purchases to specific products in the pricing rules.
How can you start using this functionality?
The new product screen is added for almost all our customers and can be used immediately. If your environment does not have it yet please contact email@example.com or talk to your CloudBilling Administrator.
