Custom Customer Fields

Reason

We recently released a feature which provides the ability to add custom fields to customers in CloudBilling in a structured manner. Before the release of this feature , a metadata field could be added to a customer. This can be done per customer, which takes a lot of time if you want this metadata field available for all of your customers. The feature of custom customer fields can be used to add additional information to all the customers at once.


What has been changed?

A new feature Custom Fields has become available in the Administration menu. This item provides the ability to add custom fields for all customers in the CloudBilling environment.


How does this functionality work?

The functionality of custom fields is described in the CloudBilling documentation. By adding additional groups and fields, these fields become available in the customer screen and can be filled in per customer. This saves a lot of time and is less prone to errors.


How can you start using this functionality?
