When an invoice shows that too many items are selected, it means that there are too many pricing rule results.
Pricing rule results that are used by the template could be filtered by filters on the Transformation in CloudBilling, however, when it is already filtered we need another solution.
In this case a PRE-PRICE SUM pricing rule was introduced around the connector managed pricing rules. So this rule was installed before the PRICE at order -3.
Additionally a new PRICE pricing rule was introduced between the ADJUST PERCENTAGE rule and the SUM rule, overriding the ADJUST PERCENTAGE rule. This PRICE now contains the new value per unit. This also will take the AWSSpecification Billing Output Tag, so that the item still appears on the specification page.
The rule structure now looks like this:
