Introducing Microsoft Graph Messaging from CloudBilling

Modified on Thu, 31 Jul at 9:26 AM

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Microsoft Graph as a new messaging option alongside our existing SMTP service in CloudBilling! This enhancement will enable you to seamlessly send invoices and notifications directly from your Microsoft 365 account, streamlining your billing process and improving communication with clients.

To get started with Microsoft Graph you can simply travel to your Message Definitions in CloudBilling by going to Messaging under the Administration cogwheel in your menu bar. Over there you can now log in with your Microsoft Account using the email address from which you would like to send the messages. Note that it is recommended to use a general email for this process, for example, invoices@examplecompany.com. This is to prevent unexpected behaviour when email addresses from colleagues become unavailable. More information can be found in the CloudBilling documentation. If you have further questions or would like assistance, please feel free to reach out to CloudBilling support.

Please note that Microsoft is deprecating the Basic Authentication in Exchange Online. If you are currently using this functionality, ensure to move over to using Microsoft Graph before Microsoft deprecates this functionality fully. If this is not done in time, your messaging will not work anymore.
